Starting from 2018, Cleveroad is the participant of Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (NUCC). It’s a non-profit association established to encourage business relations between Ukraine and Norway. Being a part of NUCC, Cleveroad is aimed at strengthening relationships with Norwegian business partners and contributing to business development in our countries.

Why Does It Matter?

Cleveroad has already partnered with many Nordic companies and entrepreneurs. So, we made a decision to join NUCC in order to continue developing commercial relations between Ukrainian and Norwegian companies.

After researching the market and studying various assessments like The Hays Global Skill Index, we understood that many Nordic countries, including Norway, are faced with the problem of finding the right talents with unfilled jobs. In other words, local firms cannot completely fulfill the ever-rising demand for IT services because they experience difficulties in matching skillful talents.

As a result, many Norway companies are likely to offshore or nearshore software development to other countries which is a balanced decision in most cases.

Ukraine and Norway on a world map

Cleveroad has been on the IT market for 4 years now and employs over 100 qualified software engineers in two offices located in Dnipro and Kharkiv. Taking into account all of the foregoing factors, we believe that our company has enough experience and resources to help Norwegian businesses build software they are interested in.

How Does the Membership Help Us in Company Development?

NUCC holds various business events on a regular basis. They are organized both in Ukraine and Norway. Since Cleveroad is a newcomer to the association, we are going to participate in our first event on January 2019 — Norwegian-Ukrainian Business Forum 2019.

This conference will be organized by NUCC with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, in partnership with Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) and the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway.

Speakers from Ukrainian and Norwegian government are invited to discuss business climate in Ukraine as well as opportunities and challenges of doing business in this market (which is potentially one of the biggest in Europe).

Cleveroad is happy to be a part of Norwegian-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and join over 100 other it's members. We believe this organization will help our countries build strong business relations and it’s a pleasure for us to make a contribution to this.
